本書是專為幼稚園或托兒所的老師,及對關心幼兒健康教育的家長撰寫,有理論篇九篇,實例篇二十二篇,及體能遊戲動作五百例,給老師或家長要展開幼兒的體能教育作為參考。
理論篇有體能遊戲的目的;運動機能的發展;神經係統的發展及如何通過體能遊戲,來刺激大腦的發展。
實際篇有幼兒喜歡的體能遊戲22項,有介紹各項目的特徵,及目標,有動作遊戲的五百個例子,有配合幼兒的能力;嗜好,選擇動作的例子,供老師來參考。
通過體能遊戲,不但能有健康的身體,而且能達成幼稚教育的目標,(身體健康,頭腦有創造力,及有良好的社會性)。同時又能培養能有多樣的運動經驗,培養更多的運動能力;手是外表的頭腦,手的技巧性,與能讓身體自由自在的腳力及平衡感,對老年人是很有幫助,的因此期盼在幼兒期,能重視幼兒能遊戲,指導的目標,是要配合幼兒的自發性;創造性;興趣與能力,最重要的是要能讓幼兒,喜歡動動自己的身體,有興趣活動的幼兒。
本人因年齡日增,身體體力無法像過去一樣,因此想利用身邊的東西,如鉛筆、錢幣、乒乓球和火柴盒等,讓家長與幼兒,在家裡做親子遊戲,這次承蒙,台南市教育局特幼課課長王立杰先生的好意,希望本人能提供,一些給幼稚園老師參考的,有關指導幼兒體能的遊戲。
本人年輕時喜愛運動,當過多項運動的選手,也會在師範學校任教及當過中學的體育教師,並在本人創辦的仁和幼稚園,指導幼兒體能,有二十多年,得到了一些心得與經驗,但是幼兒的體能教育的知識,是很寬廣的,本人因才疏學淺,只能提供一些大家能認同的理論,及老師與小朋友喜歡做的運動遊戲的實例,來供大家來參考,最後感謝王課長立杰先生的鼓勵,來完成本書的編著。
