Christmas Surprise

The most anticipated and popular Christmas program was the "Joy in the Park - Love at Christmas", which debuted last Friday, December 22, and featured a variety of performances by children from all classes, a mystery guest, and a lottery drawing, which attracted the enthusiastic participation of parents.

First, there were performances by children from all classes. The children graciously went on stage and danced with the music to bring out the joy of Christmas, and the parents' cameras were even faster than the music, leaving many precious pictures for the children.

Jenny's mom's "Christmas Express Delivering Happiness" is a dance with a sweet smile and a bright appearance that attracts attention as soon as she takes the stage. One of the two mystery guests was Santa Claus, played by an in-line skateboarding teacher, dressed in a red suit and hat, on in-line skates, and leading six children from the back of the stage. When Santa Claus gave out gifts and sprinkled candies, not only the children, but also the adults were happy to follow.

Uncle Button, the mysterious guest, was the new highlight of this year's event. Dressed as a clown, Uncle Button rode out on a small bicycle to the cheers of the audience, and was so handy that he was able to do balloon modeling, ball tossing, magic tricks, and funny performances, which filled the room with joy, and the children and adults scrambled to take pictures.

A total of 99 lottery prizes were collected this year, one for each participant, and a total of 144 prizes were given out, with a win rate of 68%. Thank you to Mayor Huang, Speaker Qiu, Legislative Councillors, legislators, mayors, parents, gardeners, and parents who provided gifts to make the event more enjoyable. As it happened to be the winter solstice, red bean dumplings were prepared for everyone to enjoy, which was a warm and cozy treat in the cold winter and touched the hearts of parents. In the afternoon, the exchange of gifts was conducted by classes, which was much smoother and less time-consuming than in previous years.

The kindergarten prepared Christmas gifts for each child, and the children received them from the principal with joyful hearts, drawing a beautiful ending for the Joyful Christmas in 2023. The hosts were one of the keys to the success of the program. Thank you to teachers Wenwen and Tienning for being the hosts; thank you to every teacher in the Renhe team for their dedication, division of labor, and cooperation; thank you to the children for their cooperation and performances; and thank you to the parents for their support and participation, and for their unity and cooperation, which helped to make the program a complete and successful event. After Christmas, the year will come to an end, and in two days we will be welcoming the arrival of a new year.

Today, we held a New Year's Eve event, singing, dancing, playing games, and setting off firecrackers (instead of stomping on balloons) to send off the year 112 and welcome the arrival of the year 113 of the R.O.C. and the year 2024 CE. A new year, a fresh start, represents new hope.

Wish you all a happy new year, peace and happiness

Mandy
