Christmas Programs

The Christmas series of activities - Church Visit, Community Greeting, and Joyful Christmas in the Park are officially launched this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday~.

First, I visited the church on Wednesday. It was a cold and wet day, and I was hoping that the sky would clear up so that we could go ahead as planned. I prayed with my children, but the rain continued to fall, and even though the trip was very close, we didn't dare to take any action because safety was the first priority. We almost couldn't go on the tour, so we called the church and told them about our difficulties. When they found out about the difficulties, they immediately told us that the church had a gospel bus to pick up the children.

As in previous years, the pastor greeted each busload of children at the door with a kind smile, and the uncles, aunts, and uncles of the church also greeted them warmly. It was the eighth year for us to visit the church, and we went straight to the chapel on the third floor, familiar with the way. In addition to welcoming the children, the friends of the church also prepared a drama performance, "The Turtle Who Lost Its Shell"; the children sang a Christmas song, which warmed up the atmosphere of the scene and won a round of applause; the pastor blessed and prayed for the children, and the headmaster gave a gift to the children; at last, the church took pictures and concluded the visit with a gift for each of the children.

On the way back, the rain stopped, except for the Kindergarten class who took the bus back to the nursery, the rest of the children walked back to the nursery with a satisfied and happy heart. They went to visit the nursery happily and went back to the nursery safely, but unfortunately two parents accidentally bumped into each other's cars when picking up and dropping off the children.

The second activity was the Community Reporting on Thursday, where children dressed up as Christmas angels and went to the community, markets, and public offices in groups, carrying their little hand-drawn Christmas cards and traveling through the spaces of public offices, market stalls, alleys, and stores to send their blessings to everyone, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year; the sky was beautiful on Thursday, and the cool weather was very suitable for the reporting of the good news, and even the Kindergarten children didn't cry out of exhaustion.

The grand finale of the program is Friday - Christmas in the Garden. We are all looking forward to it. There will be performances by children from all classes, a mystery guest, and a color drawing. The children's performances will be the most eye-catching, and for children between the ages of 2 and 6, they should be recognized for going on stage because it takes courage to go up on stage, and it is even more difficult to perform and cooperate with them; the mystery guest, who will be the second, will be the highlight; and the color drawing will be the highlight of the event, so look forward to it.

On Friday, December 22nd, which happened to be the Winter Solstice, the principal prepared red bean dumplings for everyone to enjoy. Where there are children, there is laughter. Each program is wonderful, so please come prepared to participate with a happy heart.

Have a nice holiday. Peace and happiness.
