Message from the Director - After the 10-day spring break

After ten days of Spring Festival holiday, the first day of class after the holiday on January 30, the campus is back to its usual bustling atmosphere, some with a smile on their faces and teachers to say good morning, a few children in kindergarten class, probably because of the holiday for too long, the day is cold, bedridden, do not want to go to school, a kindergarten after getting off the bus at the entrance to hug their parents and cry, and do not want to leave ...

 Children's emotions come and go quickly, and soon the sound of laughter replaces the sound of crying, because school is really too real fun, too interesting, accompanied by teachers, classmates, we learn together, play games together, eat, sleep, and see their friends immediately open the box, chattering and chattering, sharing New Year's Eve interesting things.

February 1 is the opening day of the new semester. A good start is half of success, and we hope that there will be closer interactions between home and school, parents and teachers, and that there will be more consideration and care for each other and less criticism and manipulation. Whether you are a parent or a teacher, you have at least two roles to play (husband, son, wife, mother, etc.) as well as a job to do, and I hope that you can do a good job in each of them.

In addition to being responsible for care and teaching, kindergarten teachers are exhausted all day long, and there are also liaison and teaching records, file organization and other matters that need to be dealt with. Going back home to their roles as wives and mothers is not something that can be done for a long time if they do not have a passionate love for kindergarten education. Without a passion for ECE, it is impossible to sustain a career in the field. Many young people have switched to other professions because they cannot cope with such pressure, resulting in a serious imbalance between supply and demand.

In addition to earning a wage and salary, it is important to work happily because happy teachers will have happy students; similarly, happy and grateful parents will have happy and grateful children. Family and kindergarten are the two most important areas in a child's life. If the interaction between these two areas is positive, it will have a positive impact on the child's development. Children are like sponges, imitating through their senses the things and people they come in contact with, especially their parents and teachers, so what adults say and do is very important.

More affirmation and less negative criticism. Tomorrow is the Lantern Festival. It is a custom to carry lanterns on the Lantern Festival, and this morning the children were happily carrying lanterns around the campus; after the Lantern Festival, the New Year will come to an end, and people from all walks of life will have to go back to their normal lives.

This year's Lantern Festival is in Taipei, but Tainan hosts the Yanshui Yuejin Harbor Lantern Festival every year, and the organizers have been very attentive in the past few years. The Yuejin Harbor Lantern Festival has become a very famous event in Tainan, and every year there are different changes in the theme, so that you can learn about some of Tainan's history and culture.
