Message from the Head Gardener - Plant the seeds of love so that love will not be interrupted.

The end of the year is a difficult time for many underprivileged families, which is why various social welfare organizations will launch charitable activities at this time. Some give away goods, some help with money, whatever the way of caring, we all hold a loving heart and hope that they can be helped to get through the difficult time.

As early as the 1980s, Jen-Ho began to take action in caring for children. During the December Christmas caring month, Jen-Ho initiated a fundraising activity for the Ruifu Puzzle Center, taking children to the center on a baby carriage and interacting with the special children at the center, and when the children saw children who were different from their own, they felt a sense of sympathy.

In 1988, the 921 Earthquake shocked the whole country, and the family raised $100,000 for charity with even greater love.

Sending love to the Six Turtles Nursery School, organizing a parent-child tour, and sending the proceeds from charity sales and fleas to the Six Turtles Nursery School in Kaohsiung County to enjoy the touching songs of the Six Turtles Choir, and the mouth and foot painter, Grace Yang, who was on the spot with her foot holding a brush and painting, and her conversations and interactions with the children, which touched the parents accompanying the children, who purchased her paintings on the spot, are all vividly remembered and deeply imprinted on our hearts even though it has been 20 or 30 years since the event.

The Care for the Barrier-Free Home, the Huashan Foundation's annual meal for the elderly living alone, and the Genesis Foundation all have records of our donations and visits. Although this process is time-consuming and laborious, we have only one goal in mind: we hope that the children can plant seeds of love at an early age, and we also hope that these seeds will sprout and grow stronger.

Counting the love actions along the way, although there are laughter and sweat, they are also like sweets.

In order to keep the love alive, since 1992 we have adopted two World Vision children, one domestic and one foreign, and we gather the love of the children in the park and give them $20 a month to help those in need. Unity is power.

Hopefully, our enthusiasm will be supported by parents.

The first stop of the Christmas series was a visit to Teck Kwong Church. On Thursday, the teachers and students dressed in red and wore red hats, attracting the attention of passers-by. Even the little babies of the Baobab family went out happily and returned home safely with their big brothers and sisters holding their little ones by their hands.

Led by the principal and teachers, the children obeyed the traffic rules on the way and arrived safely at the church. Received by the pastor, pastor's wife and church staff, they visited the church space and equipment, played games, sang songs, listened to stories, etc. Finally, they presented thank-you cards, dedications, and took group photos to conclude the visit.

Please don't forget to exercise your right to vote and do your part for your child's future tomorrow, December 18th, Referendum Day.

Voting time tomorrow, Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ****

Have a great holiday, peace and happiness!

Mandy
