童年何以珍貴？

首先，它只有一個，消逝便難以追求，很多人成年之後才後悔或者難過，為何想不起來任何關於童年的事；如果童年少了強風呼呼的颳著，樹梢沙沙作響，青青草原任牛羊……走在鄉間小徑‵涉水經過小溪的記憶，算不算有童年。

Secondly, childhood is the field of dreams for adults; if one can live to be 80 years old and look back, the most beautiful memories are those of childhood; after a decade or two of busyness, anxiety, and struggle, everyone wants to find a harbor to anchor in, and childhood memories are just that, a harbor, where one can return to one's childhood and retreat to one's own home for a few days, even if it is just for a few days; over the years, I have become increasingly fond of going back to Yilan and walking along the fields, lakeshore, and streamside. ...... Thirdly, childhood should be happy and not be stripped of its joys for a host of plausible reasons; it need not consist of a stack of examinations, with sadness between its brows and feathers.

Life is a marathon that relies on endurance, and there is nothing unusual about winning at the starting point. In a 10,000-meter long-distance run, the first 800 meters will not determine whether you win or lose, but you may lose your childhood as a result.

其四是，童年是智慧之泉的開發處，但它由嬉遊得來的；兒戲不是兒戲，它大大有學問但，現今的社會，誰肯給玩？

But it needs to be discussed, decided upon and agreed upon, and when the group decides that it is feasible, then it can be used as a win-lose game.

這件事的確滿髒的，一群小孩，在新春期間，穿著亮麗的新衣服，等著一頭牛經過，拉下便便，由一個最不怕髒的，點上水鴛鴦炮，插上‵跑開‵爆炸，糞土四溢，一群小朋友一哄而散，我則站在那裡細算爆炸的威力，爆孔的形狀，之後再用另一種炮測中的試之，比較其不同，得出不同炮，不同插法，不同火藥量，炸出來的洞洞各異。
