Message from the Director

Due to the arrival of Arbor Day, we gave each child a seedling last Friday and demonstrated the process of transplanting in groups. The children watched very seriously and attentively, following the steps of planting - pots - placing newspaper at the bottom - filling with soil (soil mixed with fertilizer) - putting in the seedling - adding more soil - watering, the teacher demonstrated and explained, and also allowed the children to do things manually in a timely manner, such as loosening the soil and adding more soil. The children also asked questions: "Why do we need a new flower pot? "Because the original home is too small, so we need a bigger home to grow and bloom." "Do I need to put it under the sun? "How much water should I pour? "Can I plant them directly in the soil?" "Yes, you can! If you have a garden at home, it's best to plant them in the soil." I don't know if the child's "oh" means he knows or he doesn't know.

After the demonstration, the children were allowed to choose their own flower seedlings. No matter if they chose round flowers, West Indian cherries, fuchsias, Japanese privet or jasmine, they all took good care of them, and Kady's mom even took the trouble to label the watermelon children's seedlings with their names. We hope that through the tiny seedlings, the children can learn the lesson of caring, just like their parents care for them, which requires love, patience, carefulness, dedication and a good environment, and that they can learn to observe the needs of the seedlings from caring for them, so that they can realize the hard work of their parents. Of course, we need the support, assistance and guidance of mothers and fathers to help them in the process, but don't take over all the work, let the children develop a sense of responsibility, a small flower seedling contains a great deal of knowledge, parents must make good use of it. I hope that every flower seedling can bloom with the color of life.

With the arrival of the Parent-Child Sports Day on March 27th, the theme of the two weeks' teaching was "Let's Exercise Together". We watched the children happily running and jumping in the grass field every day, even though they were sweating all over their backs, they still didn't feel hot; in the morning, except for Wednesdays, the activity room was prepared with the physical fitness equipments for the large, medium, and small classes, and also at the jumping box, teachers waited for the children to come to the exercise room together and did it over and over again, making their physical flexibility and agility increase. By running, jumping, climbing, rolling, etc. over and over again, the children's flexibility and agility are improved.

The same is true for box jumping. The more a child practices, the better his or her elasticity and skills will become, and this is what is meant by the saying, "Reading a book amazes diligence, and exercising amazes practice". However, sports require physical strength and endurance. During the observation process, we found that some children, especially newborns, do not have enough physical strength and need to be practiced.

The 36th Parent-Child Sports Day will be held at Yan Wo next week. This year is the Year of the Tiger, and Polle's mom has compiled a dance song for the entrance of the Golden Tiger, where the children will enter the stage in the guise of the Golden Tiger.

"Exercise and Sensory Intelligence" is Chairman Hung's philosophy of running the school. It is very important for preschool babies to grow and thrive in the bright sunshine. Developing the habit of exercise at an early age and laying a good foundation for physical fitness are the first conditions for the development of various abilities in the future. The

Our field day is a parent-child field day with children's performances and competitions. In addition to demonstrating individual athletic ability and team spirit, the grand finale is the parent-child fun competition, which demonstrates the tacit understanding and cooperation between parents and children through the fun competition, so parents should not miss this rare opportunity to participate in this activity. Parents should not miss this opportunity to recognize and encourage their children's performance.

Peace and Happiness
