A word from the head gardener - the flu is on its way!

Recently, the number of patients with cough, runny nose, sore throat and fever has increased significantly. Although influenza has three major symptoms: "fever", "pain" and "fatigue", some people may still confuse it with the flu; therefore, if you have high fever, it is recommended that you seek medical attention as soon as possible to avoid complications, and to avoid tragedy by getting diagnosed and treated early!

Influenza is highly contagious, and often when one person is infected, the whole family wins. Therefore, we should be more vigilant and take precautionary measures, such as washing hands, wearing masks, and avoiding going to and from public places.

Prevention is better than cure. A notice was sent to parents on Tuesday, informing them that children should wear masks to school in response to this wave of influenza. During the assembly on Wednesday, we checked the children's masks and found that 7 children were not wearing masks; on Thursday, we checked again and found that 3 children were not wearing masks; on Friday, there were still 6 children wearing masks. We discussed with the children, "Why do we need to wear masks? "Because I don't want to get infected." "Because of air pollution." "Why do I get infected?" "Because... If he coughs, the germs will come out and spread to me, so I wear a mask." "Wearing a mask is the only way to prevent it."

Yes, wearing a mask is a good preventive measure, but it is not a panacea, and it must be accompanied by the good habit of washing hands regularly and correctly in order to avoid catching the flu train. Remind children of the importance of hand washing, the five steps of hand washing - wetting, rubbing, rinsing, holding, and wiping; and the five times - before eating, before holding a baby, before and after visiting the doctor, after blowing your nose, and after going to the toilet - so that you can protect your own health and the health of others.

Children can recite the five steps of hand-washing by heart, and most of the five-hour classes know them, but it is easy to know but difficult to do, and even adults may neglect them. In order to develop the habit of proper hand washing, we have taken great pains to design a hand washing assessment sheet for teachers to observe children's hand washing in the park and send it back for parents to sign; this semester's revamping, in addition to retaining the teacher's observation of children's hand washing habits, we also ask parents to observe children's hand washing habits at home, and ask parents to cooperate with us, so as not to neglect this simplest way of preventive health care and to make good hand washing habits a health care ability that children can carry with them. Let good hand-washing habits become the health care ability that children can take with them in order to enjoy a healthy life.

Influenza, dengue fever, enterovirus, like a plague that can't be driven away, are with us in our living circle; after influenza, dengue fever will come on the scene, while enterovirus is waiting for an opportunity to move around us regardless of the seasons; the most frightening thing is not only that human beings are advancing, but also that the mutation of viruses is getting more and more poisonous.

In order to lead a healthy life, it is important to know how to take precautions as well as to have a regular routine and exercise habits.

Health is the best thing that can happen to you.

Peace, health and happiness to your family.
