On Tuesday morning, we held a storytelling competition for this school year. The contestants, all of whom had a good stage presence, were very articulate and calm, took turns to go on stage with the help of their classroom teachers and told the stories they had prepared without any hesitation.

Most of the participants were very attentive to their costumes and props, which also attracted the attention of the audience. In addition, the choice of the story topic and the preparation beforehand, the memorization of the content and the self-practice allowed them to go on stage without any stage fright and with a calm attitude, which made the competition a very successful experience, especially for the Kindergarten and Intermediate children.

It is not easy to go on stage, especially when you have to tell a story, which is even more challenging. In order to train children's courage to go on stage, kindergarten morning assembly, with the rhythm of the music, let the children take turns to go on stage to lead the action; time and time again to practice, even the kindergarten class can also. When children have had enough courage soup, their self-confidence and self-assurance will increase without them realizing it.

The main purpose of organizing the Storytelling Observation Competition is to cultivate children's interest and habit of reading, to stimulate children's imagination and oral expression, to provide opportunities for observation and learning from each other, to enrich children's growing experience, to encourage children to express themselves, to share the joy of reading with their family members by storytelling, and to enhance parent-child interaction and communication through the preparation of storytelling competitions.
