Message from the Director - Phoenix Blossom

It's graduation season again at Phoenix Blossom, and next Saturday morning, July 25th, Renhe will host the 46th Graduation Ceremony and Presentation of Learning Achievements. For the past two weeks, the children have been gathering together to practice the ceremony process and stage performances, and we hope that by practicing and learning to work together with each other and the class group, the event will go smoothly.

The design of the ceremony focused on the graduates of the first class, from the beginning of the entrance, chanting, self-introduction, awards, and so on, provided them with the opportunity to express themselves on stage, to be recognized, to be seen, both as a group and individually, which is a very important opportunity in the upcoming stage of another study.

Opportunity comes to those who are ready. The common language with children is that once you are born, you are familiar with it; if you practice, you will know it, if you don't, you won't know it. There is no such thing as not being able to learn, only the heart that doesn't want to learn; to become capable of being recognized, it is necessary to pay; from the self-introduction you can see some clues.

Each child is unique and different, through the introduction on stage, to enhance the courage and confidence, let people know, not limited to Chinese, English and Taiwan, there is no fixed version, most of the children choose to use the familiar language to carry out, a few in English or Taiwanese to do the introduction; depending on the attitude of the different performances; however, after a few times of practice, to appreciate other people's performance, the child can also be adjusted to their own.

Time is the best medicine. From the crying, shyness and ego of the first day of kindergarten, we have learned many skills, not only grown taller, but also grown in wisdom and knowledge, and hopefully, in good character and good habits.

Kindergarten is the first stop for children to leave the family and enter the group life. Choosing the right kindergarten to give children the most suitable education is more important than anything else! The philosophy of a kindergarten is the key to a child's life. Some parents emphasize the importance of cognitive learning and English learning, and even though their children are only two years old, they expect their children to have the stimulation of learning English at an early age. I remember the founder saying that parents should choose a nursery school based on what they want their children to be.

There are stages in a child's development. The smartest thing to do is to go with the flow and follow the development; pre-school children are growing in every aspect of their bodies, so playing is their main job, learning to grow through play, learning through play, learning through doing.

There are six major areas in early childhood education - physical activity and health, cognition, language, social, emotional and aesthetic. The first area is physical activity and health, which is more important than cognition, and it is even stipulated that children in kindergartens must have 30 minutes of sweaty activity every day, which should not be neglected. From the very beginning, one of the founder's school philosophy is "Movement Sensory Intelligence", which stimulates the development and growth of brain cells through dynamic activities. The hands and feet are the external brain, and a person with flexible hands and feet has a smart brain.

In addition, if the children have enough activities in the nursery during the day, it will not happen that they are still as active as monkeys when their exhausted parents come home from work.
