Message from the Principal - Start with the little things

Through the daily contact book and the weekly teaching sharing records, we can understand the teachers' teaching, children's conditions and interaction with parents. Although we cannot see everything, we can get an idea from the written records. The daily contact book is reviewed by the Campus Director on Wednesdays and records the situation of each class. Most parents customarily only sign their names and leave the other fields blank, with a few words appearing; the column for temperature measurement is the main point of the review, and we hope that parents will make sure to sign their names when they wake up in the morning or when their children go to pre-school.

Message from the Principal - Three elements of self-protection - take your temperature, wash your hands regularly and wear a mask.

The number of confirmed cases of C pneumonia in Taiwan has reached 100, and one case was a student at a neighboring university. We are even more nervous because it is very important to remind children once again that the three important elements of self-protection - measuring body temperature, washing hands frequently, and wearing a mask - must be observed and implemented in order to ensure their own physical health and not to be attacked by the virus. "To measure body temperature, please ask your parents to measure your child's body temperature when they get up early in the morning. In case of fever (ear temperature ≧38℃; forehead temperature ≧37.5℃), please check your child's body temperature.

Message from the Campus Director - Dedication, Effort, and Participation in the Movement

It was another successful Parent-Child Sports Day that united the centripetal force of everyone. Teachers' dedication, children's hard work, parents' enthusiastic participation, and the host's ability to form a strong team, even the weather favored us to participate in this event, the children played games and did sports to their heart's content, demonstrating their superb physical fitness. Each activity was arranged according to the children's current learning ability and naturally presented to the parents; from the opening ceremony to the flash mob.

Message from the Head of the Park - Watch me jump in the box 45th Games

In March, the weather was sunny and rainy, cold and hot, so the children were not feeling well, and more of them had colds, fevers, and illnesses, and I felt very sorry for them; even I had a serious cough from the beginning of the month, and it only got better last week. I was worried that the unstable weather would affect the Parent-Child Sports Day at the end of the month, and I was worried about it. Although I was prepared that even if it really rained on that day, we could hold the event in the activity room as usual and not be affected, I still felt sorry that the children couldn't enjoy the event to the fullest.

Message from the Director - Sapling's Echo

"After returning from the flower saplings given by the school on Arbor Day, Yen-Cheung worked with his brother to build an environment where the tree would be very comfortable. When I saw my brother and Yen-Shiang planting the tree together, even with the landscape around the tree, helping to catch earthworms and digging a water channel, I felt the greatness of Arbor Day! I was so touched by my mom's sharing. It's not easy for two brothers to treat and cherish a sapling with such dedication, and all of a sudden I felt that all the efforts for Arbor Day were worth it, from the taking of the sapling to the planting of the tree, to the planting of the tree.

From the director - let's all get together!

As we entered the field day this week, the children felt the atmosphere of the situation. Even those who usually arrive late in the morning were encouraged by the teachers to overcome their habit of staying in bed and enjoy the beautiful morning time with everyone. Everyone was on the move, especially in the box jumping section. Those who had jumped over the sixth floor wanted to surpass the seventh floor, those who had jumped over the seventh floor wanted to surpass the eighth floor, those who had jumped over the eighth floor wanted to challenge the ninth floor, and those who had jumped over the ninth floor wanted to break through to the next level. The only way for children to perform well is to practice, and practicing is the only way for children to perform well.

A Word from the Head Gardener - Teaching Beauty in Life

Last Saturday, I participated in the workshop "Roots of Aesthetics and Arts Education in Kindergartens" hosted by the Department of Teacher Education and Arts Education of the Ministry of Education and organized by Tainan University, and was personally lectured by the facilitator of the program, Dean Lin Mei-jun of the College of Fine Arts. Prof. Lin shared that the three major competencies of aesthetic education in kindergartens include "exploration and awareness," "expression and creation," and "response and appreciation," and that people usually focus more on expression and creation and neglect "exploration and awareness" and "response".

Message from the Principal - Do your part to protect our environment!

"Principal, are you wearing a mask because you have a cold or something?" "Oh, it's not a cold, it's the air quality." The visitor to the school asked with concern as he was greeted at the entrance. Since the Education Bureau has required us to check the air quality indicators on the Environmental Real-Time Link every day, we have been more concerned about the air quality. The air quality gatekeeper of the campus, the Air Pollution Flag, has been standing firm to remind everyone of the good and bad air quality and to take precautionary measures. Green flag means good air quality; yellow flag means good air quality; yellow flag means good air quality.

The words of the director - change, twist of courage

Habits are the way to read a person's mind, and change is the courage to turn a path around! Change should be done before you have to change. Because of the problem of the one holiday rule, coupled with the protests of the neighbors, this year's Parent-Child Sports Day was adjusted from the long customary Saturday holiday to a Friday school day, and the message was sent out, which led to a few questions from the parents. "If it's moved to Friday, we won't be able to participate because we have to go to work, we have to work, we have to open the store." What should we do? There are always trade-offs.
