Message from the Head Gardener - Sapling Experience

March is the season of spring blossoms, the campus is blooming with flowers, one by one, bougainvillea fighting for color, there are white, pink, fuchsia, peach; horse cherry blossoms also scramble to bloom, at first it is subtle a few a few blossoms, and then it will bloom together with a big splash; desert roses are also not reluctant to show weakness and shyness of the blooming flowers, the flowers in the garden to make the green and lush campus, adding a colorful color.

The beautiful flowers attract children's attention, and the bees and butterflies also come to join in the fun, which are all treasures in Renhe's garden.

Heavenly Father's Garden is one of the most popular songs in schools nowadays ~ "In a little garden, red, orange, yellow, blue and green, every little flower is beautiful, the breeze is gentle, the blue sky is joyful, in Heavenly Father's garden. You and I are treasures together, in this garden, the gardener cares for you, not to let you be sad, windy or rainy, maybe never to leave you, Heavenly Father's little flower grows in His hands, don't worry, your growth is in His hands. The lyrics of this beautiful children's poem are simple and easy to understand. As long as the music is playing, all the children in the school can sing along with it, with movements and expressions, enjoying the mood of the lyrics; and when they are playing or walking, there are children singing.

Children as a small flower, is the need for careful care of the gardener, and parents and teachers is their gardener, each child has different qualities, are our baby, in addition to the gardener carefully care, but also need to provide them with a good environment for growth and learning ~ spacious space, plenty of sunshine, fresh air.

March is also the annual "Tree Planting Month". Every year, Renhe gives children flower seedlings and tree seedlings for the Arbor Day, and this year, we gave them Similac, Red Bamboo, Variegated Leafwood, Osmanthus, Fuchsia, West Indian Cherry, and Seven Mile. On that day, Mrs. Hellen and Mrs. Kady taught the children how to plant. They prepared seedlings, pots, newspapers, organic fertilizers, and shovels, and demonstrated step by step, from loosening the soil to the degree of moisture and dryness of the water. The children watched attentively and raised questions.

"Why do you need a new pot?" "Because the original home is too small, we need a bigger home to grow and bloom!" "Do you need sunlight?" "How much water should I pour? "Can I plant them directly in the soil?" "Yes, you can! If you have a garden at home, it's best to plant them in the soil." I don't know if the child's "oh" means he knows or doesn't know. After that, each class took the class to loosen the soil and add more soil, the children grasped this rare experience and took a group photo with a flower seedling in each hand. 24 children, including Mandy, gave the flash bouncy ball to the children who provided photos of last year's flower seedlings.

There are many things to learn on one's way to grow up in order to accumulate good character, habits and abilities. A small sapling provides children with the lessons of "responsibility" and "care", as well as the significance of ecology and life education. Through one's own experience, one can be moved to explore the wonders of nature, the preservation of life, and respect for life, and to realize the hard work of their parents in taking care of them. Parents must treasure the efforts of the kindergarten, and must not let the flowers and saplings die, or take over the care of them. Take time to guide your child, teach him, observe with him, and develop a sense of responsibility. Responsibility is like a small seed that is expected to blossom and bear fruit in the child's heart.

Peace and Happiness

Mandy
