
Origin of Father's Day
On August 8, 1945 (R.O.C. 34), when the war situation of China's Anti-Japanese War was becoming clearer, some patriots in Shanghai initiated the "Father's Day" to honor their fathers who had sacrificed their lives for the country on the battlefield, and the first 10 people who signed their names in public were: Yan Hui-Qing, Yuan Xi-Lian, Chen Ching-Shi, Mei-Lan-Fang, Shi Zhi-Fu, Yen Di-He, Fei Mu, Lu Gan-Chen, Fu Wen-Shou, and Zhang Yi-Qiu.
