The first stop of the Shiny Literary Award 30 Story Theatre - Sword & Lion Tour was at Renhe on the morning of Thursday, June 27th. The author of the story, Ms. Liu Ru Gui, came to tell the story for the children, and through the images and Liu's soft voice, her lively expressions and tone of voice, the children's eyes were attracted to focus on the storyteller. Two weeks ago, I received a call from an alumnus of the Cultural Center informing me of this event and that he would like to come to the kindergarten to tell the children about it.

Early reading, also known as "pre-reading", is a way for pre-school children to learn to transition from oral language to written language through the use of richly illustrated books or adults reading aloud with vivid images, to acquire interest in pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-literacy, habits, skills and the ability to read on their own, and to promote the synergistic development of language, thinking, imagination and individuality, so that they can "ultimately grow up to become people who are full of passion for reading and who desire to and are able to read effectively". The Guideline for Kindergarten Education issued by the Ministry of Education in 2010.
