A word from the principal - Practice makes good habits.

On Wednesday, the results of the Parent-Child Shared Reading Program were calculated and the target for this semester was 42 books. This year's results were better than last year's. 90% of the Kindergarten class reached the target and more than 20% of the children exceeded the set number of books; 56% of the Intermediate class reached the target, 40% of the Primary class and 50% of the Kindergarten class. Our mother's storytelling satisfied our souls - there was no television in Taiwan around the 1940s, and even radios were rare, so our greatest entertainment was listening to old people tell stories. We would go out to the courtyard to enjoy the cool air in the summer, and in the winter, we would listen to the stories in the warmth of the quilts.

Message from the Director - Health + Exercise = A Better Life

"Mr. Gardener, I ran fast in the pasture this morning, and the teacher said I looked like a scamperer! So do I." "I've given up jumping. .... Mr. Principal, I can do 25 sit-ups .......". The children scrambled to tell the principal about the results of their morning fitness program, and we saw their faces light up and they were so proud of themselves. At the end of each semester, Jen-Ho will conduct fitness tests for children in four directions: body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle fitness, and flexibility.
