Last Saturday, I participated in the workshop "Roots of Aesthetics and Arts Education in Kindergartens" hosted by the Department of Teacher Education and Arts Education of the Ministry of Education and organized by Tainan University, and was personally lectured by the facilitator of the program, Dean Lin Mei-jun of the College of Fine Arts. Prof. Lin shared that the three major competencies of aesthetic education in kindergartens include "exploration and awareness," "expression and creation," and "response and appreciation," and that people usually focus more on expression and creation and neglect "exploration and awareness" and "response".

Message from the Principal - Do your part to protect our environment!

"Principal, are you wearing a mask because you have a cold or something?" "Oh, it's not a cold, it's the air quality." The visitor to the school asked with concern as he was greeted at the entrance. Since the Education Bureau has required us to check the air quality indicators on the Environmental Real-Time Link every day, we have been more concerned about the air quality. The air quality gatekeeper of the campus, the Air Pollution Flag, has been standing firm to remind everyone of the good and bad air quality and to take precautionary measures. The words of the director - change, twist of courage

Habits are the way to read a person's mind, and change is the courage to turn a path around! Change should be done before you have to change. Because of the problem of the one holiday rule, coupled with the protests of the neighbors, this year's Parent-Child Sports Day was adjusted from the long customary Saturday holiday to a Friday school day, and the message was sent out, which led to a few questions from the parents. "If it's moved to Friday, we won't be able to participate because we have to go to work, we have to work, we have to open the store." What should we do? There are always trade-offs.

Parenting ~ The Courage to Change No Matter What Age You Are

When many people read the news about the recession, it seems that there is nothing they can do except sympathizing with the unemployed, and if they or their family members or friends are involved in this matter, is it true that they can only do nothing? Mr. Cheung, who has long been counseling students on academic, family and relationship issues, as well as assisting unemployed workers or family members to deal with emotional distress, believes that apart from providing specific resources available to the parties concerned, we can also help family members and friends to tide over the difficult times by means of accompaniment, acceptance, support and encouragement. Accompaniment

From the Principal - Experience is a child's most intimate teacher.

The four-day holiday in a row brought more color, leisure and slower pace to the unchanging life. The windy and beautiful weather attracted a large number of foreign tourists to Tainan, and all the famous scenic spots were crowded with people. I have never loved crowding with people on vacation, but I arranged a day trip to the city, rode an electric scooter and visited the Five Harbors Cultural Park, and everywhere I went there were crowds of people; following the crowds forward, I could only look at the flowers on the horseback; I wanted to relieve the heat and eat ice cream, and it took me a while to do so.

Parenting ~ Water Conservation Measures

Tip 1: Use a 6-liter water-saving toilet for new houses; replace water-consuming toilets with two-stage flushing fittings. Tip 2: Check for leaks in the toilet. Turn off the water inlet valve and observe whether the water level in the tank is lowered. If there is any leakage, replace the rubber stopper as soon as possible. Tip 3: Change the urinal flushing device to an automatic sensor and adjust the flushing time appropriately. Tip 4: If the amount of water in the lotus head and faucet is too large, install appropriate flow-reducing devices.
