A Word from the Principal - Let your child grow up with praise!

How long has it been since you have praised your children? How long has it been since you praised your family? How long has it been since you've praised someone you've been in contact with? The word "praise" seems to be very difficult for the average person to say, especially in a Taiwanese family. Parents rarely praise their children, believing that it is their duty to do a good job, and that if they don't do a good job, they are not working hard enough and are to be blamed for it. Such behavior has a lot to do with the ethnicity and traditional education of the Taiwanese.

Parenting Principles of Parenting

A child who grows up with encouragement will be self-confident and responsible. Children who grow up in forgiveness are stoic, tolerant, and helpful; children who grow up in blame are judgmental and self-righteous; children who grow up in name-calling are guilty and ashamed; children who grow up in praise are respectful and appreciative, and well-mannered; children who grow up in fairness know right from wrong and have a strong sense of justice; children who grow up in ridicule are timid, shy, and lacking in self-confidence; and children who grow up in hostility have a strong sense of self-confidence and responsibility.
