A Word from the Headmaster - Parent-Child Shared Reading: Seeing the Results of Your Efforts

Early in the morning, walking along the promenade, I met the children who came to us and said good morning with smiles on their faces. The sound of good morning breaks the silence of the morning and starts the beginning of the day. Saying good morning is one of Renhe's etiquette campaigns, and the children have gradually gotten used to it. However, they are very skillful at reading people, and the children will not interact with each other if they are not taught by example. The principal reminded them that it is important to behave themselves no matter what. Towards the end of the semester, apart from physical fitness tests, the children will also have a chance to have their physical fitness tested.

Summer vacation is a time for teachers to recharge their batteries. Many schools organize seminars or workshops immediately after the end of the school year, inviting teachers to summarize their experiences of teaching during the year and to seek improvement from the review. One of the most common phrases I hear in these reviews is that "the number of children who are overactive in the class has increased. This is very strange. There were not so many children with ADD in the past, but now there are one or two in each class! Pseudo hyperactive children are mostly children who watch TV, while real ADD and hyperactive children are not.
