Message from the Director - National Day Experience

September and October are especially full of festivals. In addition to the Teachers' Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, there are also the National Day, the Taiwan Restoration Day, the Birthday of the late President Chiang Kai-shek, the 9-9-9 Festival of Respect for the Elderly, and the Halloween in the West. Nowadays, only the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day are holidays, while the others are commemorative holidays. In the past, October was known as the "Glorious October", but now this aura is gone. Taiwan's Kwan Foetus Day and the anniversary of late President Chiang Kung's birthday are not celebrated as holidays, so the significance of the festivals, and even of that day, is not realized.

"Parenting - Raising Children with Books

I know that the habit of reading has to be developed from a young age, so from the time my children were born, I created a "lap school" for them. Every day before my children went to bed, I held them in my arms and told them stories, which made me feel happy, so I insisted on doing this. I didn't realize that from the time my oldest and second child were small, to six years later when I had my third child, they have been telling stories for more than ten years now. My children call bedtime storytelling "story time". Although they are getting older, they still have a bedtime storytelling program.

The words of the gardener - fun ukulele!

"Mandy! I want to learn Ukulele too." Joon Weng said happily, Hin Cheng also said he would like to learn. After confirming that they would like to join, they were asked to pick their favorite color according to the samples on the posters. On Tuesday, Jun Ye also signed up to participate. We called the music company to prepare the guitars for the babies. Ukulele is a new after-school talent program this semester, and from a lack of interest in signing up, it seems to be spreading to the 14 children who have signed up so far. Maybe it's because

"Parenting - Breathing Awareness, Brain Enhancement

Before leading a group of loving mothers who had taken extensive courses in play therapy, drama therapy, storytelling therapy, reading therapy, etc., I had to put in a lot of effort to weed out the parts they had learned before, supplement their neurological knowledge, and then guide them with small-group games. On the eve of a successful semester of teaching, a frustrated loving mother asked, "Why is it that when I lead my children during small group time, they are always as restless as a pot of beans roasting on a fire and can't stay still?

Jen-Ho Story - Providing children with a future full of love and hope

Snow White and her attendant were on stage, interpreting their upcoming stage play, adapted from The Frog Prince's "The Prince Stayed Up All Night", at this classical music salon on Tainan's Yonghua 1st Street. The lively performances, along with the adorable frog props, were eye-catching! Even the youngest children were mesmerized by the performance. On two consecutive days, two troupes came to the kindergarten to do promotional work, the Bean Troupe on Tuesday, and the Iron Branch Roadside Creative Group on Wednesday, in just half an hour.

"Parenting" Love Shock Education

This new teacher must be looking at me in a bad light. It's not enough that he doesn't follow me properly, but he even accuses me of being wrong in front of the students, making me lose all my prestige as a tutor. How can I stand in front of my students in the future? They are simply pulling my leg! I was so angry that I rushed to the office to protest with the principal about this strange dual-teacher system. Obviously, I can handle the class by myself. Which teacher here doesn't know that even if I'm not in the classroom, as soon as the bell rings, the students in my class will be in a state of shock and dismay!

A Word from the Principal - Giving Your Baby the Power to Adapt

Looking at Bo Rui kicking a ball around on the grass field with a satisfied smile on his face, he recalled the fun he had in kindergarten, kicking a ball around and playing on the swings to enjoy the big muscle activities. His mother said that kindergartens were better, especially Renhe, where there was a safe space for him to walk, run, jump, and play. After starting elementary school, my child was a little bit uncomfortable. Recently, the class teacher was expecting a baby, so my child said she had a stomach ache and was not feeling well, which was an excuse for delaying her attendance at school, a phenomenon that had not happened in the four years of kindergarten. It is understandable that the mother is worried.

"Parenting - Building the 5 pillars of your child's basic abilities

Between the ages of three and six, children are entering kindergarten and preparing for elementary school. What are the key areas of parenting that parents should focus on? Where should we invest our parenting resources? How should parents approach parenting so that they don't fall into common parenting myths? Five Key Points of Preschool Early Childhood Parenting Prof. Peirong Lin of the Taipei National University of Education points out, "Parents need to be macro in their parenting of children between the ages of three and six. Early childhood education is not pre-primary education, nor is it talent, language, or computer technology education.

Words from the Director - Lessons from the past, lessons for the future

"Ms. Hong Renmei" I was waiting for my medication at the clinic when I heard the nurse call my daughter's name, I was shocked, how could .... It was only then that I realized that I had the wrong health insurance card. Luckily, my health insurance card was in my purse, so I hurriedly replaced it, but it caused the clinic lady and the doctor a lot of trouble, and I was also delayed for some time, which was embarrassing! I should not have gotten into trouble because of my own negligence in not checking and verifying my health insurance card. Checking and confirming are really important.

"Parenting" This is mother's love.

While traveling in Turkey, the bus passed by the site of the 1999 earthquake, and the tour guide took the opportunity to tell a touching story, which happened two days after the earthquake... After the earthquake, many houses collapsed, and rescue workers from various countries kept searching for possible survivors. Two days later, they saw an unbelievable scene through the cracks - a mother, supporting herself with her hands on the ground, with an unknown weight of stones on her back; as soon as she saw the rescue workers, she desperately
