"Parenting - Good Relationships Start with Good Words

I have found that good relationships start with good words. In the past, when I saw my child do something I felt bad about, I would always get angry and scold her. Several times my daughter felt aggrieved, so she used to shut herself up in her room and didn't want to talk to me about certain things. When I realized my daughter's detachment and communicated with her a few times, I realized that I had blamed my daughter for her impatience a few times. I began to change my way of talking to my daughter.

A Message from the Director - Honor our aged people as we honor our own.

When we met with Mr. Henry, the CEO of Huashan Foundation in Tainan, it happened to be the date when the New Zealand Steakhouse on the second floor of the Far Eastern Department Store was going to invite the elderly living alone to have dinner, so the donation venue was changed from Huashan Foundation to the New Zealand Steakhouse in the Far Eastern Department Store, which would allow the children to participate in the event and to meet these grandparents. The date was set, but who should represent us? Due to safety and transportation considerations, it was decided that the Kindergarten class, on behalf of all teachers, parents and children in the school, would collect the money and donate it to the Wah San Foundation.

Ms. Ching-Yen Liu, who has been telling stories for more than 20 years, believes that life education is about sharing life experiences with each other, and reading and discussing with children is the best life education. Previewing Life Situations in Shared Reading More than 20 years ago, Ms. Liu Ching-yen volunteered as a storyteller at a church in the Wanfang community, where she talked about picture books with 15 children every week. Most of the parents of these kindergarten to elementary school-aged children were elementary school graduates or simple tea farmers on Maokong Mountain, so to the blue-collar parents, it was a great honor to be able to tell the story of the children.
